About us

A reference site, not an investment platform.

Projectfundmk was born in Mexico City with a specific purpose: to bring curious readers closer to the basic concepts of the property world, from single-family housing to industrial warehouses and the collective financing of projects.

You will not find promises of returns or financial brokerage here. We put together glossaries, comparisons and explanations so that you can read any document, news piece or brochure related to real estate with your own criteria.

Our editorial team brings together perspectives from urban planners, lawyers and economic journalists based in Mexico, and updates the content following the regulations of the CNBV and the Fintech Law.

How we explain it

Real estate crowdlending, step by step

This is the typical flow described by regulators and authorized platforms in Mexico. Our content breaks it down with examples, without recommendations.

01

Project origination

A developer identifies a property or project and prepares the documentation: deeds, zoning permits and market studies.

02

Financial structuring

The requested amount, term, target rate, guarantees and the commercial contract that will govern the relationship with lenders are defined.

03

Publication and analysis

The operation is published on a collective financing platform authorized by the CNBV, where users review the information prospectus.

04

Execution and monitoring

Once funded, the project moves forward on schedule. Periodic reports track construction milestones and payments.
